What the research says
Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide characterised as a selective agonist of the growth hormone secretagogue receptor GHS-R1a. Its selectivity profile makes it a common comparator in receptor-specificity and secretagogue signalling studies. It is not an approved drug in the United States, and ipamorelin is on the FDA's list of bulk substances that compounding pharmacies may not use because of possible safety risks.
