Tirzepatide 15 mg vial — lyophilised peptide, ≥99% HPLC

What the research says

Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid synthetic peptide that activates two incretin receptors at once: the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptor and the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor. A fatty-acid side chain binds it to albumin, which stretches its half-life to about five days and is why the trials gave it once a week. The SURMOUNT-1 trial followed adults with obesity for 72 weeks (Jastreboff et al., N Engl J Med 2022). Tirzepatide is the active ingredient of Mounjaro and Zepbound, which received FDA approval in 2022 and 2023. PeptoClinic's vial is not either of those products and is not approved by the FDA. Supplied as lyophilized powder in a sealed vial.

Each report covers the batch submitted for it and no other. It is evidence about that material rather than a guarantee about every vial ever shipped, which is why these are dated, numbered and published one at a time instead of summarised into a badge.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know a lot is what it claims to be?

From that lot's certificate of analysis, not from what the supplier asserts. The certificate names the laboratory that took the measurement, the date, the task number, the method and the purity found. PeptoClinic publishes the full reports uncropped, exactly as the laboratory printed them.

What is a certificate of analysis and how do you read one?

It is the report an analytical laboratory issues on a specific sample. Four things are worth checking: which compound it claims to have measured, by what method (HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for identity), what figure it found, and whether the task number can be verified against the laboratory. A certificate with no verifiable task number is a picture.
