Cagrilintide 5 mg vial — lyophilised peptide, ≥99% HPLC

What the research says

Cagrilintide is a long-acting analogue of amylin, the hormone the pancreas releases together with insulin after a meal. Amylin is studied for its role in satiety and in slowing how fast the stomach empties. Cagrilintide acts on amylin and calcitonin receptors and carries a fatty-acid side chain that lets it last for days. Novo Nordisk developed it alone and combined with semaglutide, the combination called CagriSema, which was tested in the REDEFINE phase 3 trials (Garvey et al., N Engl J Med 2025). Cagrilintide has not received FDA approval. Supplied as lyophilized powder in a sealed vial.

Each report covers the batch submitted for it and no other. It is evidence about that material rather than a guarantee about every vial ever shipped, which is why these are dated, numbered and published one at a time instead of summarised into a badge.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know a lot is what it claims to be?

From that lot's certificate of analysis, not from what the supplier asserts. The certificate names the laboratory that took the measurement, the date, the task number, the method and the purity found. PeptoClinic publishes the full reports uncropped, exactly as the laboratory printed them.

What is a certificate of analysis and how do you read one?

It is the report an analytical laboratory issues on a specific sample. Four things are worth checking: which compound it claims to have measured, by what method (HPLC for purity, mass spectrometry for identity), what figure it found, and whether the task number can be verified against the laboratory. A certificate with no verifiable task number is a picture.
